Nice forums to have pop ups to help me when I made my thread, that's a first! Anyway, I have the complete collection and have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, here is what I'd like to know. I played the original sims, with a few expansions, but never all of them at once.
1. Cockroaches- I'd rather do without them. It is not fun spraying them, even if just ONE thing is dirty it seems (like not flushing/cleaning a toilet after every time a sim uses it, I'd think they'd flush it automatically) they will appear. Sometimes my sims will go WAY out anywhere in the lot/yard to spray them, which is a HUGE waste of time. I wonder if there is a mod that can get rid of them.
The Sims 1 Complete Collection mod
1. The cockroaches do not seem very common in my version, they only appear every now and then when there is a huge mess (For Example: My sims eating out of a can of food and leaving it on the floor). I am not sure if there is a mod for getting rid of cockroaches, but you can check Sim download sites online possibly Sims Resource.
2. This one is inevitable it seems. There is little or none at all when the floor is complete (Tile, Carpet, etc), but when on ground the water stretches into puddles usually covering most of the room.
I'm not sure about the complete collections since I have the expansion packs and stuff packs on every version (2, 3, 4), but my guess that with the Complete Collections they try merge all expansions and fix any loose ends or bugs before moving onto the next game. It could also be the Operating System or the hardware on your computer that may also affect the game.
All the steps work here except the one where I have to replace the Sims.exe file (cracker version) in the Maxis/ The sims folderIt informs me that I cannot create a shortcut.. except that normally it does not have one

Recieving Fatal Error: could not find sims data directory message no matter what I try. I have gotten this exact file of the game to work before on windows 10. not sure what to do as the answers online are from 2003.
In addition to a Free Play mode with classic, open-ended gameplay, the games contain a structured, linear story mode where players are required to complete a series of goals to progress in the storyline. Three games have been released to date.[16]
The Urbz: Sims in the City is a game focused on Sims living in an urban setting within Sim City. The player must earn a reputation and complete tasks for characters. It was released for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo GameCube. It features Black Eyed Peas as NPCs. Like The Sims Bustin' Out, separate handheld versions were developed for the Nintendo DS and the Game Boy Advance, which serve as a sequel to their predecessors.
The Sims FreePlay is the first free-to-play version of The Sims, for iOS and Android, was released worldwide on December 15, 2011, for iOS devices, and on February 15, 2012, for Android. The game made it to Kindle Fire in October 2012, to BlackBerry 10 on July 31, 2013, and Windows Phone 8 in September 2013. Unlike other Sims games, The Sims FreePlay runs in real-time and takes real-time to complete actions. Players can progress through 55 levels and unlock new content, create up to 34 Sims, build town map buildings, and complete goals to earn Lifestyle Points, Simoleons, Social Points, and XP (Experience Points). All of these (except for Social Points) can be obtained by baking, planting, going to school (Only for preteens and teens), or working. To get Social Points, you will have to go to neighboring houses or add your Facebook friends.
One known issue in the Sims 4 regarding collecting is that if your Sim moves households, their collection can get reset. Make sure that when your sim collects an item, they keep at least one of each in case you decide to pack up and move.
The Curator aspiration is recommended because not only does it give your sim a higher chance of finding rare collectibles, the reward for completing it is the appraiser trait, which allows your sim to sell their collectibles to the Simsonian Museum for a much higher price than usual. Traits to help your sim complete the Curator aspiration are Loves the Outdoors and Loner because your sim is going to be spending most of their time alone and outside searching for the items to complete their collection. The last trait your sim should have is Geek, as this will increase the chance of finding rare items, and also boost their mood with a confident moodlet when finding a new collectible.
Once your sim has completed this aspiration, they should then choose a Nature aspiration, because it will give them the Collector Bonus Trait, making it more likely for them to find rare collectibles.
Stuff packs and expansions collections: Insects (Outdoor Retreat), Geodes (Get to Work), Experimental food prints (Dine Out), Voidcritter cards (Kids Room Stuff), Snowglobes, City posters (City Living), Feathers (Cats and Dogs), Ancient Omiscan artifacts, Omiscan treasures (Jungle Adventure), Magical Artifacts (Realm of Magic), Simmies (Snowy Escape), Village Fair Ribbons (Cottage Living), Messages in Bottles (My Wedding Stories)
Use this handy Google Doc Collectibles Checklist to help you keep track of what your sim finds and what they need to be a collection completionist! Credit to ghostboyrises and Cream_Chicken on Reddit for creating such a useful tool.

Hey, sorry to bother, but I just wanted to ask something. So when I let RPC open sims 2 in borderless fullscreen, the UI and stuff are a lot smaller than in fullscreen mode. I heard that this is because it forces 4k graphics(? I'm not really sure), and I just wanted to ask whether this is really something that comes with using borderless fullscreen, or if there's some way it can be "fixed"?
A few people have also contacted me asking about installation problems under Windows 10 - unfortunately not a lot has changed there - all the old installation problems that happened with every previous operating system are cropping up again. My advice is that if you want to reduce installation related suffering then getting a copy of The Sims Complete collection is preferable to using individual packs.
Updated December 30, 2021 by Ritwik Mitra: The Master Chief Collection is a great way to experience the magic of the Halo series, regardless of whether you're a new fan or a veteran of the series. Each and every game in this extensive collection is a treat to play through and will keep players occupied for hours on end as they uncover the story of Master Chief, the world, and the aliens that are threatening life on Earth itself. On PC, this game can become even more engaging with mods. Here are some of the best ones in this regard.
Halo Reach is one of the most popular games in the collection. However, there is a bit of a downside, as some feel the game's campaign doesn't really hold any replay value after a few sittings. But with the Prometheus mod, the campaign can be augmented quite extensively. Everything from the weapons to enemy encounters are changed extensively, giving your next playthrough a vibrant coat of paint and excitement.
For those that want a nostalgia kick or a nice change of scenery, the "Classic Halo Menus" mod from CozmicDoctor replaces the MCC's menu backdrops with the original menus seen in every game from the collection. Each game in the MCC has its respective menu background and music, showcasing some of the incredible skyboxes and music that accompanied the menus of each game. This is also one of the few mods that you can use while anti-cheat is enabled, as this mod only affects the MCC's menus.
General Collecting Tips for Rocks and PlantsWhile other types of Collections are completed at home or via Fishing, travel, etc. the biggest burden a Collector faces is completing the Metals, Fossils, Crystals, and MySims Trophies collections. All four come from the same Rocks, and Elements are harvested by sending off Metals and Crystals, so there is a huge variety and thus low chance of you finding one you are missing. Finding more and more of these is necessary to polish off these Collections. Some plants must be found in the wild and introduced to your garden, so these tips apply to those as well.
Crystals: 20 CollectiblesCrystal are found while digging up rocks, spread around each Neighborhood. Each Crystal you get gives off an Energized Aura, which can be helpful to place near Fitness equipment to help your Sim gain that Skill faster. These may take a while, as you must travel to various neighborhoods to get them, and wait on Rocks to respawn. The tips above will likely be of help to you. Crystals will help finish the Microscope Prints collection via taking samples, as you can analyze them to get Rares. You'll also need to occasionally 'Call Geo Council about Sample' to determine the Elements a Crystal is made of, and consider whether sending it in for $20 to possibly get one of those Elements in the mail to complete that Collection.
Fish: 22 CollectiblesLook to our Fishing Guide to learn more about catching all the types of Fish in the game. Completing the collection requires a trip to Forgotten Grotto, so you'll need level 10 Handiness. Knowledge of Fishing Spots and Bait the fish desire will help you polish off the Fish Collection with ease!
Gardening: 32 CollectiblesIn order to complete this Collection, players will have to invest heavy time in Gardening. Getting all of the plants requires you to know Grafting Combinations that produce the rare and uncommon plants that aren't found in the world. You will need to take cutting from plants that are not ready to harvest, then graft those to plants at home in order to be efficient. The link leads to the Gardening Skill guide, where you can learn all you'll need to know in order to find these. 2ff7e9595c
