In 2020, Polly was a finalist in the Top 50 Women in Cybersecurity Africa, aimed at recognising women for their significant contributions in the industry. In 2019, she contributed towards the development of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Guidelines on Cybersecurity for Payment Service Providers. She has also participated in writing of key reports such as the annual cybersecurity landscape reports by Serianu.
